C. Bradford Kelly
Brad co-founded and is a Managing Director of Spur Capital Partners, a venture capital fund of funds which invests in early-stage IT and life sciences focused venture capital partnerships principally in the United States. Spur is based in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and serves a client base of US foundations, endowments and high net worth family groups and European institutions. Spur manages more than $400 million in committed capital.
C. Bradford Kelly
In 1989, Brad distinguished himself in co-founding and building one of the earliest venture capital funds of funds, Knightsbridge Advisers, from which he and three others spun out to form Spur in 2001.
Prior to becoming active as an institutional investor in venture capital partnerships, Brad served as an officer of three banks (Citibank, European American and Fidelity Bank in NYC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and London). In London, he established and ran for eight years Bradford Kelly Associates Ltd., in the fields of investor relations and corporate finance, while simultaneously serving as a member of the board and chief financial officer of Oxford Analytica Ltd. and Managing Director of Vineyard Ministries International (U.K.) Ltd.
Brad grew up in Southern California, went East for college and holds a B.A. in Economics from Colby College, Waterville, Maine. He remained in New England for graduate work and received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
