We fuse expertise in technology and healthcare.
In technology, we have an experienced team with a track record of transforming paper-based processes into efficient, secure electronic transactions. Several of our founders designed and created a sophisticated application that is used by some of the largest banks in America. It was so innovative that it won the Wharton Infosys Transformation Award. For years we've been building Internet-based enterprise software, keeping customer data safe in a way that large banks can trust.
In medicine, we have expertise in healthcare management and in care delivery in many settings. Our chief medical officer has clinical training from UCSF and a Masters of Public Health from Harvard. She has applied information technology to the point of care and seen it transform clinical workflow.
Acesis (ă'sē-sĭs) has an experienced team. We bring together rock-solid technological innovators with experienced physicians. We listen intently to our customers.

Before he started Acesis, Kevin Chesney, CEO, looked at the Electronic Health Care (EHR) market and saw that many large organizations were using EHRs, but the vast majority of the market, comprised of small and medium-sized practices, was lagging behind in adoption. These practices do not have dedicated information technology staff. They don’t have the expertise to install and maintain patient data on local servers. But they do have Internet connections. Sure, other companies have tried it, many have failed, and until now, all electronic clinical solutions have been less efficient than pen and paper.
Acesis is now close to releasing a pilot version of Acesis Point-of-Care. It does not try to compete with massive 'bloat-ware' EHR feature lists. Instead it focuses on the mission critical task of efficiently capturing data at the point of care. Overcoming the adoption barriers happens one step at a time; our software will grow with our customers, and our customers will grow with us. Our customers need an evolutionary approach, not a big bang.
Now is the time to break through the inertia: the early majority is ready.
