The Acesis team created a new and powerful ‘document’ approach tailored to medical professionals. Physicians gain the same ease-of-use and power that spreadsheets provide to financial professionals and presentation software provides to sales professionals.

Acesis Point-of-Care differs from electronic health record systems in the market today that use fixed database screens or snippets of text to create an encounter note. Instead, it has been carefully designed with input from practicing physicians to solve the problems of effective and efficient data capture at the point of care.
Acesis’s forms dynamically expand based on prior responses, helping physicians focus on appropriate lines of clinical inquiry. It's a fundamentally different way of looking at software: more like working with documents than screens. The documents make sense for the task at hand: patient encounter notes, vital sign entry, patient questionnaires (either online at home or in your waiting room at a kiosk), or patient call-in message notes. They're all customizable, structured documents instead of screens, easily created or modified in the Template Authoring module.
